Real Madrid are arguably the most attractive football club in football, especially from a players point of view.

The Spanish giants are enshrined in trophy-laden history, glittered with a selection of world class talents from Alfredo di Stefano to the Galacticos to the Cristiano Ronaldo era.

Los Blancos have a reputation that will almost definitely never diminish, with the temptation of Madrid luring 99% of players who spark an interest from the La Liga side.

Zinedine Zidane's back-to-back-to-back Champions League triumphs looked to be merely a shade above business as usual for a club that demands nothing but the best.

However, following the Frenchman's shock departure in 2018, Madrid's form began to drop dramatically much to the dismay of their fans.

After a torrid time under both Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari, the former Galactico returned home to begin his second reign as boss.

Due to losing an uncharacteristic 14 games in 48 under his two predecessors, Zidane has reportedly asked to be backed heavily by the board in order to shift any dead weight whilst bringing in some much needed world class talent.

Following reports by AS, Real Madrid are looking to spend as much as £460 million in what would be the club's most expensive transfer window in five years.

Zidane had reportedly targeted five players in particular that he thinks will change Madrid's fortunes - in more ways than one.

Madrid have already secured one of the five signings, so therefore look well on their way to completing a successful summer.

Here is the £460 million rated shortlist:

Eder Militao/ F.C Porto - £43 million (transfer already completed)

Christian Eriksen/Tottenham

Eden Hazard/Chelsea

Paul Pogba/Man United

Luka Jovic/Frankfurt

It is common knowledge that both Pogba and Hazard are interested in signing and no doubt a youngster like Jovic would struggle to turn down the opportunity.

With Madrid currently 18 points behind newly crowned La Liga champions and arch-rivals Barcelona, it seems the club are looking to fast track the process in trying to catch up.

If they can acquire all of their targets, they could potentially bridge the gap in just a solitary transfer window.
