Tony Adams is one of England's best ever defenders. The Romford born player was a one-club man at Arsenal during his footballing career. He would amass 670 appearances for the club across 19 years, scoring 48 goals. The defender also helped his side to four league titles and three FA Cup's.While Adams was a no-nonsense style defender on the pitch, he has shown his character off it.

And that was on display once again on Saturday during his appearance on Soccer AM.

The 52-year-old was great value during the show.

And he produced a comical moment while taking a free-kick.

Soccer AM run a drill which comprises of a former player trying their hand at a number of set-pieces in order to try and win fans on the show money.

But it's fair to say Adams wasn't trying his hardest.

Standing over a free-kick, instead of trying to get the ball over the wall, Adams decided to try and curl it round with the outside of his foot.

But it went horribly wrong.

Adams was aiming at the crowd and that's exactly where it went.

The ball was struck with power and it cannoned off a crew members head.

Watch the moment below:

Never change, Tony.

Adams also made a mockery of presenter and show goalkeeper, Lloyd Griffith.

The former Arsenal defender managed to nutmeg Griffith in a one-on-one, before celebrating wildly.

Watch it below:

A video has also gone viral in the past of a famous training session Adams took while he was at Granada.

Adams can be seen making a number of hand gestures and moving around enthusiastically.

No one could decipher exactly what Adams was doing, but he explained what it was all about on Saturday...
