As if often the case in the build-up to league matches across Europe, the television cameras focused on the two managers: Warnock and Roy Hodgson.

Coaches usually have their game-faces on when they know that all the spectators can see them but Warnock was having none of it and showcased what a unique personality he really is.

The Englishman showed no signs of a lack of confidence in the above clip, despite knowing that his side's Premier League dream could be over in just 90 minutes.

However, a topsy-turvy first-half saw Martin Kelly's own goal cancel out Wilfried Zaha's opener, only for Michy Batshuayi to put the visitors back in front six minutes before the interval.
