Liverpool are somehow still in the Premier League title race.Jurgen Klopp’s had to forget their disappointment in Barcelona on Wednesday and get their minds focussed for a tough trip to St James’ Park on Saturday night. And tough it was.The Reds needed a dramatic 86th-minute winner to see off Newcastle 3-2 in a match that had absolutely everything.Virgil van Dijk had given the away side an early lead but if Liverpool thought they were going to have an easy evening, they were very much mistaken.

Newcastle soon equalised through Christian Atsu, who stuck the ball away after Trent Alexander-Arnold had handled on the goal-line.

But Mohamed Salah swept in from Alexander-Arnold’s cross to put Liverpool back ahead before half-time.

Salah had to be stretchered off in the second-half after a horrible looking clash with Martin Dubravka but not before Solomon Rondon had equalised with a terrific strike.

But Liverpool won it with just minutes remaining.

Fabinho went down under Matt Richie’s challenge near the touchline.

And it was so soft.

In fact, replays are being shared online that shows it was never a free-kick.

Fabinho was barely touched by Ritchie and Newcastle fans are rightly angry.

Take a look:

Fortunate. Very fortunate.

Xherdan Shaqiri’s inswinging free-kick was glanced by Divock Origi with the ball coming off Jamaal Lascelles last.

Liverpool will now be hoping that Brendan Rodgers and Leicester can do them a massive favour on Monday by taking points off Manchester City.

Either way, this incredible title race is going down to the final day.

And we can't wait.
