Oxford's on-loan defender Ben Futcher has returned to Bury following the end of his spell with the Us.

Futcher played six games during his eight-week stay with Chris Wilder's side, the last of which was the 2-0 home defeat to Southend on New Year's Day. Meanwhile, Richie Baker has also left the club after his contract expired.

A statement on Oxford's official website read: "We thank both Ben and Richie and wish them all the best in the future."

Additionally, Sam Deering and Mark Creighton have returned to the Kassam Stadium following loan spells with Newport and Wrexham respectively.
