The final of the Estoril Open was played on Sunday night, with young star Stefanos Tsitsipas taking on Pablo Cuevas for the title.Tsitsipas won in straight sets 6-3, 7-6 to win the championship, but it was his opponent who won the admiration of the spectators, pulling off a no-look tweener. The tweener, also known as the between-the-legs shot, is one of the most difficult skills to execute effectively on the court, but Cuevas managed to do it without looking AND win the point.Cuevas produced the shot mid-rally, faking the motion that he was about to execute a smash to secure the point, before not even looking at the ball to perform the tweener, to make it that extra bit more audacious. The 33-year-old’s shot left Tsitsipas scrambling across the clay, but he could do nothing to prevent the brilliance of his more experienced opponent.

An audible gasp of disbelief could be heard from the crowd as the ball dropped over the net, followed by a rapturous applause.

“That’s magnificent,” exclaimed the commentator. “No wonder they’re on their feet, they should be.”

Despite the brilliance of the shot, Tsitsipas came out on top to complete an impressive tournament for the 20-year-old.

The Greek youngster dropped just one set across the competition to bring home his first clay-court title, proving why he finds himself in the top ten in the 2019 Men's Tennis ATP Rankings.

The result means that Tsitsipas continues on his rise to the top, having beaten Roger Federer in the Australian Open en route to the semi-final in January, also having claimed ATP World Tour title victories in Stockholm and Marseille in October and February respectively.
