The biggest move of WWE's most recent Superstar Shake-up was by far SmackDown Live's acquisition of Roman Reigns. The multi-time world champion made his presence felt by unleashing a Superman Punch to Vince McMahon and it looks like he may be entering a long-term feud with Vince's son Shane. But his actions are seemingly not just limited to Tuesday evenings.Reigns announced earlier this week that he had 'unfinished business' to attend to on Monday nights and that he would be returning to his old yard to kick off Raw.In a strange storyline twist though, the claim was refuted by 'WWE officials' by saying that he would not be appearing as he is now a SmackDown star.

Reigns responded to this last night by telling WWE to 'have his music ready' as he will be opening up the show.

What he has to say or do remains to be seen considering he is facing a fellow SmackDown superstar - Elias - at Money In The Bank, but there may be more to it.

It seems as though a live event scheduled for this evening in Kentucky has been rescheduled for October at the last minute, and there's a few theories as to why this has happened.

Low ticket sales is one thought as WWE hosted Monday Night Raw just 90 miles up the road in Lexington last week, but Dave Meltzer has thrown fuel into the fire with what he has heard.

Per NoDQ, Meltzer stated on Wrestling Observer Radio: Their idea was to bring Roman Reigns to RAW and other guys.

"They cancelled their Monday night SmackDown house show, but I’m guessing you’re gonna have Roman Reigns and the four women and the four guys from the Money In The Bank match running in and doing an angle maybe, maybe we’ll see what they’re doing.

“The idea is to have a bigger show so we’ll see if it works."

The whole 'run-in' angle is merely speculation but Meltzer says he's heard that Raw wants a bigger show in order to build-up Money In The Bank, and with the ratings tumbling in the manner that they are recently, it kind of makes sense.

But the Superstar Shake-up only just happened and SmackDown stars are coming to Raw, which is not a good look for continuity.

We will have to see what happens but it's clear that McMahon is worried about the spiralling viewership over in the United States and he's clearly looking at several ways in which to stop the haemorrhaging.
