Spurs are through to the Champions League final to face Liverpool in Madrid on June 1... just.Ajax were favourites to reach the final after triumphing 1-0 in north London last week. But the pressure was now really on Erik ten Hag’s side to finish the job.The pressure didn't seem to affect them, though.Ajax controlled the first-half against Spurs and, within five minutes, had doubled their aggregate lead.

Lasse Schone’s corner was met powerfully by Matthijs de Ligt to send the Johan Cruijff ArenA into delirium.

De Ligt is still only 19-years-old and is already regarded as one of the best defenders in world football.

Ajax looked to have put the tie out of Spurs’ reach before the break.

Dusan Tadic’s pull-back was smashed into the back of net by the impressive Hakim Ziyech.

2-0 on the night. 3-0 on aggregate.

Tie over?

Not quite...

Spurs made a comeback that equalled Liverpool's last night

Lucas Moura scored twice within four minutes to make it 2-2 on the night and bring them within one goal of the Champions League final with half an hour remaining.

Jan Vertonghen had a double chance but could only hit the bar before seeing his rebound blocked on the line.

But then, in the last second Lucas completed his hat-trick

It will now be Spurs vs Liverpool at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid on June 1.

And we can't wait.

What have we done to deserve this season's Champions League!?
