Following Manchester City’s narrow 1-0 victory over Leicester City on Monday in the Premier League, Liverpool fans started to come to terms with the fact they will end the season trophy less.In the league, they trailed City by one point heading into their final game of the season. With Pep Guardiola’s side facing a trip to already safe Brighton on the final day. They also trailed 3-0 to Barcelona after the first-leg of their Champions League semi-final.They had no chance of overturning that, right?Wrong.Liverpool are now in the final of the Champions League after being Barcelona 4-0 at Anfield in an incredible 90 minutes.Divock Origi set the ball rolling in the 7th-minute but, with the score still only 1-0 at half-time, Liverpool needed another two. They got those within two minutes of each as Georginio Wijnaldum stuck in the 54th and 56th-minute to level the scores on aggregate. Then, when Origi put Liverpool 4-0 up with 11 minutes left, Anfield erupted. The famous stadium has seen some incredible nights, but this could be the best yet.Liverpool fans probably still can’t quite believe it.They’ve probably been lapping up every piece of content surrounding their incredible victory in the past few days. But the one they’ve all been waiting for has now emerged - Inside Anfield. The club’s official social media channel release an Inside Anfield episode after every match and their latest one has now dropped. There’s no commentary, just the incredible noise from the crowd. It shows the goals from different angles and also the celebrations both on the pitch and in the changing room afterward.Take a look:

Incredible.

A night Liverpool fans will never forget.

And it seems manager Jurgen Klopp won’t forget it in a hurry either.

“It’s a special night, very special. Winning against Barcelona is obviously one of the most difficult things in the world of football; winning against Barcelona when you are actually 3-0 down makes it not easier.

“It was really difficult to play against us tonight. What the boys did – this mix, again, of big heart and football skills – is unbelievable.

“And then going out there and putting a performance like this on the pitch is unbelievable. I’m really proud to be the manager of this team. What they did tonight is so special and I will remember it forever.

“I don’t know if it happened before and I don’t know if it can happen again. The boys did it and it was brilliant.”
