Ole Gunner Solskjaer could not have envisaged a worse end to his first season in charge of Manchester United. It was all going so well until early March when the wheels suddenly fell off in spectacular fashion for the Norwegian coach. It genuinely felt like the ‘real Man United’ were back following that stunning 3-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes on March 6.Since then, however, United have only managed to win two of their next 11 fixtures - a disastrous return which has left the club out of Europe and out of contention for a top-four finish. The Red Devils are currently on a five-match winless run, stretching back to last month’s unconvincing 2-1 victory over West Ham.

They have also gone 14 games without clean sheet - their worst run since a 16-match streak in 1970 - highlighting the need for a squad revamp this summer.

Solskjaer’s men end the 2018/19 campaign against Cardiff City on Sunday afternoon. Despite the fact it means very little for either side, it’s a game that United will feel they must win in order to convince the fans that it’s not all doom and gloom.

Those players owe the supporters a performance after what has been a pretty dismal campaign.

A two-minute video of United’s worst and funniest moments show just how bad the season has been.

"Banter FC,” the caption reads. “Call off the end of season awards now”.

Watch it here…

In the video, which is aptly set to the official Europa League music, we see some of the ridiculous goals United have conceded this season.

We’re then treated to a series of missing from Romelu Lukaku - including one in a warm-up before a match, which is particularly amusing.

The Belgian striker could be sold and replaced by a new striker this summer.

We then see some rubbish passes and attempts at goal before we get to the Ashley Young section of the video.

It hasn’t been a great few weeks for the 33-year-old who, in the video, is seen falling over his own feet during a warm-up drill.

The end of the season can’t come soon enough.
