Eden Hazard may well have played his last game as a Chelsea player at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night. But he made sure it was a memorable one.Chelsea managed to qualify for the Europa League final after a nervy encounter with Eintracht Frankfurt. The German side took Chelsea to penalties after the tie finished 1-1 on the night. And, fittingly, it was Hazard's coolly struck penalty that sent the English side through.

It was just another great moment in what has been Hazard's best season individually as a Chelsea player.

Unfortunately for Chelsea, they may well be without Hazard come the start of next season.

The 28-year-old' contract runs out next season and he's been heavily linked with Real Madrid.

But is there a chance Hazard could stay for at least another campaign?

Although jokingly, he offered some hope at Chelsea's Player of the Year awards on Friday night.

When Hazard was on stage collecting his Player of the Year award, there were shouts from the crowd urging him to 'sign the contract'.

In typical Hazard fashion, the Belgian winger cheekily responded: 'where's the pen'.

It sounded as if he was joking but this is yet another example of Hazard pulling at Chelsea fans' heartstrings.

It proved to be a historic night for Hazard.

The Belgian forward won three awards: Goal of the Year, Player's Player of the Year
and Chelsea Player of the Year.

Remind yourself of Hazard's goal vs Liverpool that won Chelsea Goal of the Year:

That means he became the first player in Chelsea history to win all three awards in the same year at the club's end-of-season ceremony.

Hazard said it was a pleasure to play for Chelsea after picking up his Player of the Year award.

"My relationship with the fans has been really good since I came here," Hazard said, per Chelseafc.com.

"It’s always a pleasure to play at Stamford Bridge in front of the fans. That’s why I am on the pitch. When we play for such a great club like Chelsea at the end of the season you want to win something.

"Now we have that opportunity. We will go to Baku all together with the fans and we will be back with the trophy."
