Not in a long time has there been such an exciting end to a Premier League title race.

Manchester City are top on 95 points heading into the final game of the season, but there's a chance Liverpool could be crowned champions.

Jurgen Klopp's men are only a point behind City and all they need is for them to drop points against Brighton at the Amex Stadium.

Should that happen, Liverpool would need to beat Wolves to get the required three points to overtake City.

It would be nothing less than the Reds deserve after a season where they've only lost one game and brushed everyone else aside.

Liverpool's current team is one of the best the Premier League has ever seen and usually 95 points (and counting) would be more than enough to win the title.

Unfortunately for them, City have also been incredible and equally deserve to be crowned champions.

Anything could happen on the final day and there's a chance - albeit very, very slight - that City and Liverpool could end up playing a title play-off. Here are the results needed:

Brighton 4-0 Manchester City

Liverpool 4-4 Wolves

Basically, City need to lose by a margin of four goals against Brighton and Liverpool need to draw against Wolves by scoring the same as Brighton.

It's not going to happen, let's face it, but the fact a title play-off is even possible just shows how tight the race is.

City are as low as 1/10 favourites to win the Premier League with most bookmakers, while Liverpool's odds are 6/1.

Brighton beating Pep Guardiola's side would be a huge shock, but after this week's upsets in the Champions League you simply can't rule anything out.
