Millwall boss Kenny Jackett has revealed his interest in bringing Huddersfield forward Theo Robinson back to the club during the January transfer window.

Robinson, 21, scored twice in a six-game loan spell with the Lions earlier this season but his stay at The Den was cut short after he picked up a knee injury that required surgery.

Jackett told the Huddersfield Examiner: "The specialist's report has him (Robinson) down as being fully fit by mid-January. We've checked him out after his operation and he is someone we are interested in taking this transfer window."

He added: "I'm sure things would have gone ahead much quicker if he hadn't had to have that cartilage operation. That has set the timescale back, but we'll see how the injury progresses."
