Despite falling short in the race for the Premier League title, it's still been a wonderful season for Liverpool. The Reds picked up 97 points in the league and lost just once.Unfortunately for them, Liverpool finished second, one point behind Manchester City. One of the club's standout performers has been Mohamed Salah.Admittedly, the Egyptian forward did not hit the heights that he did last season.

But he still managed 22 league goals - enough to share the Golden Boot with Sadio Mane and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.

While Salah would have been disappointed with how the season ended on a collective note, he still enjoyed himself during the team's lap of honour.

And it was his daughter, Makka, that stole the show after the game.

Liverpool's players and families were being ushered off the pitch but Makka had other ideas.

Starting from the half-way line, she dribbled the ball towards goal before striking the ball into the back of the net.

Anfield responded by letting out a huge cheer.

She then dribbled back to the half-way line with a beaming smile on her face.

What a way to cap off a brilliant Premier League season at Anfield.

Salah later tweeted an image of him looking at his daughter while carrying the Golden Boot, along with the caption: “Yes, I know we have one at home. This is a new one”

The 26-year-old also gave a short interview after the game where he promised to fight again for the title next season.

"We did everything this season, we only lost one game. We got 97 points," he told Sky Sports, per Liverpoolfc.com.

"I say congratulations to Manchester City and we will fight again next season for this trophy."
