Since the FA Cup final returned to Wembley there have been some incredible strikes, last-minute drama and unlikely winning goals, but which of these three fine strikes was the most impressive?
1) Santi Cazorla v Hull 2014
Desperate to end their nine-year trophy drought, Arsenal found themselves 2-0 down to Hull City at Wembley after just eight minutes and looked to be heading towards defeat.
However, after 17 minutes Santi Cazorla cut the deficit in half with a fantastic free-kick from 25 yards.
Standing over the free-kick alongside Lukas Podolski, the technically gifted Spaniard fired the ball into the far right corner, with the pace on the ball proving too much for Allan McGregor in the Tigers goal.
McGregor received some harsh criticism for his save, but the strike must receive the praise it deserves, especially under the pressured circumstances.
Fortunately, from there the Gunners were able to grab an equaliser before winning it through Aaron Ramsey in extra time, but they will always have Cazorla to thank for his unstoppable free-kick.
2) Alexis Sanchez v Aston Villa 2015
One year on and Arsenal were once again in the FA Cup final, attempting to retain their trophy and hopefully in slightly less dramatic circumstances.
In the first half Theo Walcott fired the Gunners ahead with a left-footed volley, but it was the second goal of the game from summer signing Alexis Sanchez that stole the headlines.
Picking the ball up 30 yards from goal, the Chilean was faced with two defenders, with one being taken away by a dummy run by Nacho Monreal.
Checking on to his favoured right foot, Arsenal’s number 17 unleashed a vicious swerving, dipping strike that left goalkeeper Shay Given bamboozled.
Going into the middle of the goal off the underside of the bar it looked like a goalkeeper error, but make no mistake this was a thunderous, unstoppable strike from Sanchez.
3) Didier Drogba v Portsmouth 2010
In the 2010 FA Cup final, Chelsea were looking to seal the league and FA Cup double in their first season under Carlo Ancelotti.
With the game at a stalemate after a missed penalty from Kevin-Prince Boateng just a few minutes earlier, Didier Drogba stood over a free-kick in an incredibly similar position to Cazorla’s free-kick in 2014.
Though it was a slightly different technique to the Spaniard, Drogba got the same result as he gave the Blues the lead at Wembley.
With a low penetrating strike that bounced off the post and in, the Ivorian was once again the man to score for Chelsea at Wembley.
Scoring in the 2007 FA Cup final, the 2008 League Cup Final, the 2009 FA Cup semi-final and final, this was now his fifth goal at the new Wembley.
