WWE's first post-WrestleMania pay-per-view is Money in the Bank, the perfect show to kick off new storyline directions and feuds in the company with new superstars.

The show takes place on May 19 at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut, and it will be the tenth event under the Money in the Bank chronology.

As usual, Money in the Bank will host the traditional Money in the Bank ladder matches for both men and women, with four participants from Raw and SmackDown in each match.

As well as the Money in the Bank ladder matches, the event will also have plenty of title defenses and two singles matches, one which will be a steel cage match.

GIVEMEBET has the latest odds for Money in the Bank ladder matches

Here is our match card preview for Money in the Bank, including predictions for each match:

Yet to be confirmed matches

  • Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins vs The Viking Raiders - Raw Tag Team Championship - Can't see Ryder and Hawkins having a long title reign. The Viking Raiders should take the titles off them here - The Viking Raiders win (Title change)
  • The IIconics vs Asuka & Kairi Sane - Women's Tag Team Championship - The Kabuki Warriors, Asuka and Sane, are in the middle of a push while The IIconics are barely getting any TV time. New champions to be crowned - Asuka & Kairi Sane win (Title change)

Daniel Bryan & Rowan vs The Usos - Kickoff Show

p1datjkibv18doo9sb3km20ffb9.jpg

Daniel Bryan and Rowan will take on The Usos in a non-title match at Money in the Bank.

The Usos originally lost the SmackDown Tag Team titles to The Hardy Boyz on the first SmackDown following WrestleMania. They were then moved to Raw in the Superstar Shake-up.

However, two weeks later, The Hardy Boyz relinquished the titles due to Jeff Hardy's injury. A match took place on May 7 between The Usos, who were on the show thanks to the wild-card rule, and Bryan and Rowan for the vacant titles.

Bryan and Rowan won the titles on that night, and they should win again at Money in the Bank in order to keep their momentum going and help rebuild SmackDown's Tag Team division which was depleted in the Superstar Shake-up

Prediction: Daniel Bryan and Rowan win

Samoa Joe vs Rey Mysterio - United States Championship

p1daqo2b6sg18i881kp020n12tqf.jpg

In a WrestleMania rematch, Samoa Joe will defend the United States Championship against Rey Mysterio.

These two already faced each other at this year's Showcase of Immortals, but their match was cut short due to timing issues, with Joe picking up the dominant victory in one minute.

Mysterio then defeated Joe in a non-title rematch on the April 29 episode of Raw after the two were moved to the red brand in the Superstar Shake-up. He was granted another title match at Money in the Bank the following week.

This match should be longer this time around, especially if Mysterio's son Dominic gets involved in the action, and possibly take a bump or two. The Destroyer, however, needs the win more than The Master of the 619.

Prediction: Samoa Joe wins

Tony Nese vs Ariya Daivari - Cruiserweight Championship

p1daqo30pe1lqd1o3s6rq1bob1u1oh.jpg

Tony Nese will defend the Cruiserweight Championship on pay-per-view for the first time when he faces Ariya Daivari at Money in the Bank.

Nese became Cruiserweight Champion when he defeated Buddy Murphy for the title in WrestleMania 35's kickoff show.

Daivari was awarded a Cruiserweight title opportunity by 205 Live general manager Drake Maverick after he defeated Oney Lorcan on April 23's episode of 205 Live.

It will be surprising if WWE decides to take the title off The Premier Athlete so early into his title reign, but then again, stranger things have happened in WWE.

Prediction: Tony Nese wins

The Miz vs Shane McMahon - Steel Cage match

p1daqo3qeqt7b1su8o2819ie3rnj.jpg

The Miz and Shane McMahon will look to end their feud once and for all when they meet in a Steel Cage match at Money in the Bank.

Shane-O-Mac and The Miz have already faced each other recently at WrestleMania 35 in a Falls Count Anywhere match, which was won by Shane. During that match though, Shane attacked Miz's dad.

Despite being separated in the Superstar Shake-up with The Miz moving to Raw, The Miz still managed to seek out retribution for the attack. In revenge, Shane cost The Miz a win in his match vs Bobby Lashley on April 29's Raw, which caused a brawl.

The Miz then challenged Shane to a Steel Cage match at Money in the Bank, which was accepted. The Miz should win here, but don't be surprised if Shane beats him down in the process.

Prediction: The Miz wins

Roman Reigns vs Elias

p1daqo4m501s0k3341t5odj886vl.jpg

Roman Reigns' first pay-per-view match as a member of SmackDown Live will be against Elias at Money in the Bank.

Both superstars moved from Monday Night Raw to SmackDown during the Superstar Shake-up. Reigns attacked Elias and Vince McMahon on his first night on the blue brand as Vince called Elias "the biggest acquisition in SmackDown history."

The following week, Shane McMahon defended his father and attacked The Big Dog with The Drifter. Elias then challenged Reigns to a match at Money in the Bank, which Reigns accepted.

This feels like only the start of a feud between Reigns and WWE authority once more, except this time, Shane will be the main heel to The Big Dog. Expect the heels to get one up on Roman to begin with.

Prediction: Roman Reigns wins via DQ (Shane McMahon interference)

Becky Lynch vs Lacey Evans - Raw Women's Championship

p1daqo62fqfieer4o167771ii0n.jpg

Becky Lynch will defend both her Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships at Money in the Bank. She will defend the Raw Women's title vs Lacey Evans.

Lynch won the Raw and SmackDown Women's titles when she successfully defeated both Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in a Winner Takes All triple threat match in the main event of WrestleMania 35.

Her feud with Evans kicked off the Raw and SmackDown after WrestleMania when Evans attacked the double-champ. Lacey then earned herself a Raw Women's title match after beating Natalya in a number one contender's match the following week.

It still feels too early to bring an end to The Man's reign as the champ champ. Expect some dirty moves from The Sassy Southern Belle to give her the win on the night, just not the match/title win.

Prediction: Becky Lynch wins

Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair - SmackDown Women's Championship

p1daqo6cqo1nnh1fomr8qnh610jdp.jpg

Becky Lynch's second match at Money in the Bank will be a SmackDown Women's Championship defense against Charlotte Flair.

Lynch vs Flair is one of WWE's ongoing storylines that began before WrestleMania. The Man took The Queen's SmackDown Women's title off her at WrestleMania 35 despite not pinning her. She won the Winner Takes All triple threat main event by pinning Rousey.

Charlotte earned herself another shot at the title when she defeated Bayley in a number one contender's match on April 23's SmackDown.

WWE will want to put this feud to bed for now but still make both superstars look strong as we build up towards SummerSlam. Having the match finish in a failed Money in the Bank cash-in attempt would be a good way to achieve this goal.

Prediction: Match ends in no contest after Flair and Lynch stop Money in the Bank cash-in attempt (cash-in is not made official)

Seth Rollins vs AJ Styles - Universal Championship

p1daqo7nm789n1k3s1lfkl4h1ikqr.jpg

Seth Rollins will defend the Universal Championship for the first time on pay-per-view at Money in the Bank when he faces off against AJ Styles.

Rollins became the Universal Champion for the first time in his career when he defeated Brock Lesnar for the title at WrestleMania 35.

Styles earned himself a Universal title shot when he won a triple threat match on April 22's Raw vs Samoa Joe and Rey Mysterio. Later that evening, he defeated the victor of the other triple threat bout, Baron Corbin, to earn the title opportunity.

Expect this to be the first of many matches between The Architect and The Phenomenal One for the Universal title. WWE will likely revisit this rivalry at their Saudi Arabia show with Brock Lesnar included, so The Beast could interfere and stop the match.

Prediction: Seth Rollins wins via DQ (Brock Lesnar interference)

Kofi Kingston vs Kevin Owens - WWE Championship

p1daqofdaq12lobvg1j7j1ofa1kgft.jpg

Kofi Kingston will defend the WWE Championship for the first time on pay-per-view at Money in the Bank, and his opponent will be Kevin Owens.

On the April 16 episode of SmackDown on "The KO Show", with New Day member Big E out with injury, Owens wanted to join New Day as their third member. Kingston and Woods accepted Owens, who they dubbed "Big O" as an honorary member.

The three won a six-man tag team match later that night. The following week, after Rusev attacked Kingston during his match with Shinsuke Nakamura, a brawl broke out also involving Woods and Owens.

Owens then turned and attacked Kingston and Woods, proclaiming that he wanted the WWE Championship. The WWE Champion then challenged The Prizefighter to a match at Money in the Bank with his title on the line and Owens accepted.

WWE is having Kofi return to Ghana at the end of May for a special tour, and they're also filming a documentary about him and his wrestling rise. It would, therefore, be odd for the company to take the WWE title off him so soon.

Owens should stay in the main event scene though despite the loss.

Prediction: Kofi Kingston wins

Men's Money in the Bank ladder match

p1daqofps6djo879de1m20lfuv.jpg

Sami Zayn, Ricochet, Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, Ali, Finn Balor, Andrade, and Randy Orton will battle it out in the men's Money in the Bank ladder match for a world championship match contract.

Current Top 3 GIVEMEBET odds:

  • Drew McIntyre – 6/4
  • Andrade – 2/1
  • Ricochet – 13/2

During "A Moment of Bliss" on the April 29 episode of Raw, Alexa Bliss revealed Raw's four participants for the men's Money in the Bank ladder match (Braun Strowman, Ricochet, McIntyre, Corbin).

On SmackDown the next night, SmackDown's four participants were revealed (Ali, Balor, Andrade, and Orton). The following week's Raw, Robert Roode had the chance to replace Ricochet in the match if he could defeat him in a match but he was unsuccessful.

On May 13, after originally being booked in the Money in the Bank match, Strowman lost his spot after losing a falls count anywhere match vs Zayn with the help of McIntyre and Corbin.

WWE can easily push McIntyre, Corbin, Balor, and Orton into the main event scene and no one would really question it. Therefore, this match boils down to Zayn, Ricochet, Ali, and Andrade.

Since WWE is looking for their next big Latino superstar once Mysterio decides to call it a day, we could see Andrade win the match with a little help from his manager, Zelina Vega.

Prediction: Andrade wins Money in the Bank contract – GIVEMEBET odds: 2/1

Women's Money in the Bank ladder match

p1db17gdiun7f14kb1u191tt44bl9.jpg

Natalya, Dana Brooke, Naomi, Nikki Cross, Bayley, Mandy Rose, Ember Moon, and Carmella will take each other on in the women's Money in the Bank ladder match for a women's championship match contract.

Current Top 3 GIVEMEBET odds:

  • Ember Moon – 11/4
  • Bayley – 3/1
  • Naomi – 4/1

Raw's participants in the women's Money in the Bank ladder match were revealed by Alexa Bliss during "A Moment of Bliss" on the April 29 episode of Raw (Natalya, Brooke, Naomi, and Bliss).

SmackDown's four participants were revealed on the following night's episode of SmackDown (Bayley, Rose, Moon, and Carmella).

The lineup for this match was changed when WWE pulled Bliss from the Money in the Bank show on May 16 with a reported concussion.

WWE also revealed that Cross would be her replacement after she earned her right to be in the match following a Fatal Four-Way win vs Natalya, Brooke, and Naomi on May 13's edition of Raw.

SmackDown's Women's division needs more love than Raw's Women's division. Since Bayley and Carmella have been champions before, Rose and Moon could get their opportunity to shine.

Out of the two, Rose appears to be involved in a feud with Paige and her tag team, Asuka and Sane, and therefore could get a Women's Tag Team title shot if all above goes as planned. Moon is finally given something to shout about on the main roster as a result.

Prediction: Ember Moon wins Money in the Bank contract – GIVEMEBET odds: 11/4
