It has been a difficult season for Paul Pogba at Manchester United.

The 26-year-old will be glad to see the back of 2018/19 after a turbulent year for the Manchester giants.

Despite leading the lot in both goals (13) and assists (9), Pogba’s relationship with the Old Trafford faithful has worryingly deteriorated.

The French midfielder was seen clashing with fans during United’s lap of appreciation following the final day loss to Cardiff City.

It has naturally sparked countless rumours that Pogba has played his last game for United and looks set to seek pastures new in the summer window.

Real Madrid looks like a possible destination, with Zinedine Zidane repeatedly stating his admiration for the World Cup winner over the last few months.

Pogba’s future at United has been one of the longest running transfer sagas there has been, but it finally looks set to be concluded during the summer months.

However, it seems the man himself is not letting the uncertainty get to him and has already begun his holidays following the end of the season.

Pogba’s love of social media has often irked some fans, but you can be sure he will be just as active over the coming months.

It hasn’t taken him long to leave English shores either.

The Frenchman posted a picture of himself at the Masjid al-Haram mosque in Mecca where he was taking part in Ramadan.

The post, that includes Everton’s Kurt Zouma is captioned, “Remember the important things in life.”

Wherever Pogba ends up, he will certainly be hoping for a more receptive fan base.

Real Madrid’s fans are notoriously demanding, and Pogba will certainly have to pull up his socks if he wants to keep them happy.

He could, however, surprise us all and stick it out at United under the tutelage of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

It’s quite hard to see that happening, though.
