The FA Cup is still one of the biggest trophies to win in world football. While some argue it's losing its relevance in a game dominated by qualifying for and playing in the Champions League, it's a competition that every player loves to win. Most of English football's greatest have lifted the trophy on at least one occasion throughout their careers, all except one; Alan Shearer. The Premier League's greatest ever goal scorer played in some very talented teams at both Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United, but never won the cup.Shearer made it to the final with the Toon Army in 1998, but they were beaten 2-0 by Arsene Wenger's double-winning Arsenal at Wembley.

Now, the fact that Shearer's medal collection is missing an FA Cup one is always music to the ears of BBC Match of the Day regulars Gary Lineker and Ian Wright.

Lineker won the trophy with Tottenham in 1991, while Wright lifted the trophy in 1993 and 1998.

And before Manchester City took on Watford today, the pair decided to remind Shearer of his failure in hilarious style.

Those big screens at Wembley certainly came in handy...

Shearer should ask Lineker where his medal for winning the English First Division is...

The Newcastle legend won the Premier League with Blackburn in 1995, while Lineker's only league trophy came at Leicester - but that was sadly the Second Division in 1980.

Even at the great Barcelona, Lineker couldn't add a league title to his trophy collection...
