When we say that Karamoko Dembele is young, we're really not joking.
The young Scottish winger was introduced during Celtic's win over Hearts on Sunday and he became the first player born in the 21st Century to pull on the famous green and white jersey.
However, somebody born on the very first day of 2000 could have taken that record, whereas Dembele made his first-team bow at the age of just 16 years and 86 days.
That's staggering when you do the maths and establish that Dembele was born in 2003, after Cristiano Ronaldo had made his debut and David Beckham scored his free-kick against Greece.
If that doesn't make you feel old, we're not sure what will, and Dembele certainly made an admirable first impression during his appearance at Celtic Park.
- Messi has now scored 50+ goals this season
- Real are missing Ronaldo's goal contribution
- Emma Hayes could replace Sarri at Chelsea
Dembele makes his Celtic debut
It was an afternoon of celebrations in Glasgow, with the Bhoys bringing an end to another victorious season in the Scottish Premier League and they signed off with another victory.
A brace from Michael Johnston, either side of a Jake Mulraney strike, were enough to seal the points and Dembele was introduced with 45 minutes to play.
There was to be no fairytale goal or assist on his first appearance, but he had the Celtic crowd on their feet with the very individual runs that had made him famous.
What's the future for Dembele?
As you can see above, his individual highlights have already made for impressive viewing and the pundits on Sky Sports' live coverage were full of praise for his display.
Of course, there's always the risk of getting too excited about young footballing talents, but you know you're doing well when you're appearing for Celtic at just 16 years old.
It's also a historic club at which he can be given a world-class footballing education and no doubt Neil Lennon will ensure he isn't rushed into the limelight.
Nevertheless, it will be a proud moment for him to make his debut and supporters will be hoping to see much more of him at Celtic Park next season. Watch this space.
