Lionel Messi's brace against Eibar saw him reach 50 goals once again this season.

It's the sixth time he's reached the milestone during his career, proving that 2018/19 was one of his most prolific campaigns - despite turning 31.

Time and time again, he's been the difference for Barcelona and was key to his team's La Liga title defence.

In fact, Messi leads the league in pretty much every attacking stat.

With 36 goals, he's finished top scorer and his 13 assists were also the most in the division. The Argentine created the most chances, 92, and had 87 shots on goal.

He made a massive 1,587 passes inside the oppositions half and won a whopping 18 points with his goals - more than anyone else.

Stats like those are completely unrivaled in Spain now Cristiano Ronaldo has departed.

And by scoring 36 goals, he was also unrivaled by his teammates - which is something that Barca's official Twitter made very clear on Monday.

Barcelona v Liverpool - UEFA Champions League Semi Final: First Leg

The club's account posted a list of how many goals each player scored this season and it backfired massively - with many fans claiming they've trolled half the squad.

Check it out below.

The gap between Messi and all of his teammates, with the exception of Luis Suarez, doesn't really cover them in glory.

In fact, it highlights just how much better the Argentine has been in front of goal throughout the campaign.

The post didn't go down well with fans, who had plenty to say in the replies.

Liverpool v Barcelona - UEFA Champions League Semi Final: Second Leg

"This is actually embarrassing," one wrote, while another added "Origi really finished your club. What is this admin doing? You're crediting Messi and taking the p*ss out of all the other players."

If there was ever an indication that Barca really is 'Messi FC' - this tweet is it.
