Liverpool will have the chance to win their sixth Champions League crown on June 1 when they play Tottenham in Madrid.

It is the first all-English final since 2008, when Manchester United famously beat Chelsea on penalties after John Terry's slip.

The Reds have now qualified for consecutive finals after making it to Kiev in 2018, where they were beaten 3-1 by Real Madrid.

Jurgen Klopp's side were the underdogs a year ago, but will go into the game against Spurs as the firm favourites after losing just one game in the Premier League season.

The team the manager will put out in just under two weeks is unlikely to be very different from the one used in Ukraine.

That means another start for the ever-improving Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back.

The England international has grown immensely in stature in the last 12 months, recording 12 assists in the Premier League alone in 2018/19.

And quite an amazing stat about Alexander-Arnold has come to light thanks to Opta.

According to the football data company, the 20-year-old will become the youngest ever player to start in back-to-back European Cup finals.

He will surpass Christian Panucci's record from 1994 and 1995 with AC Milan, who was 21 when he was given the nod in both finals.

It means Alexander-Arnold is the first ever player under the age of 21 to appear in club football's biggest game in consecutive years.

He will be 20 years and 227 days on the day of the final; not bad, eh?

And it's not like Alexander-Arnold hasn't played a vital role in Liverpool making it to Madrid.

In the semi-final against Barcelona, he was instrumental in the 4-0 win at Anfield, recording two assists - including the one for Divock Origi's winning goal.

Liverpool certainly won't need to find a new right-back for quite some time...
