Pep Guardiola has had another brilliant season as a football manager. The Spanish manager led Manchester City to their second consecutive Premier League title. They finished with 98 points, one point clear of Liverpool. And they also won the FA Cup and the League Cup as they became the first men's side to win the domestic treble. If his Community Shield victory against Chelsea last August counts it can be argued that his side won the quadruple.

But, despite his success, Guardiola has been linked with a move away.

In the past few weeks Guardiola has continually been linked with a move to Juventus.

Further speculation arose last Friday when Juventus announced that Max Allegri was leaving his role as manager.

But Guardiola swiftly shot down those stories down, saying: "I'm not going to Juventus or to Italy. I have two more years here.

"I'm not going to move, I'm satisfied here, I'm not going anywhere. Next season I will be manager of Manchester City."

However, just days after he made those comments, reports have emerged suggesting Guardiola has made a dramatic U-turn.

According to Onda Cero, per football-italia, Pep Guardiola met Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici in Milan on Tuesday.

And, hours later, Federico Gennarelli of Italian publication Radio Sportiva claimed that Guardiola had signed a four-year deal with Juventus.

"It was supposed to be the decisive day," he wrote. "It was: Pep #Guardiola will be the new coach of the #Juventus. 4-year contract. Deal done."

That would be a remarkable turn of events.

Guardiola has already won six trophies with City in three seasons.

But, if this report is to be believed, his stay in England could be about to come to and end.

As unbelievable as it seems, maybe the chance to work with Cristiano Ronaldo has persuaded him to trade Manchester for Turin...
