Dolph Ziggler returned to the WWE last night on SmackDown Live after a hiatus and made an immediate impact by attacking WWE Champion Kofi Kingston.
Ziggler's return was unexpected as he hasn't been seen in WWE since the Royal Rumble, but he took his opportunity to make an impact when it presented itself with both hands.
Kingston had just defeated Sami Zayn in a match when Paul Heyman appeared with the Money in the Bank briefcase, teasing a possible cash-in for Brock Lesnar.
However, The Beast did not appear. Instead, The Showoff return after a four-month absence, ran through the crowd, and attacked the WWE Champion from behind so much that Kofi had to be taken out on a stretcher.
Ziggler later stated to the WWE fans that the reasons behind his attack were because he's jealous and sees himself like Kingston, but he's not respected or loved by the WWE Universe.

Ziggler went on to challenge the WWE Champion to a match at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia next month, a match which has now been booked by the WWE.
Super ShowDown is coming together, as seven matches have now been confirmed for the show on June 7.
As well as Kingston vs Ziggler for the WWE title, Goldberg will take on The Undertaker for the first time ever in a singles match and Triple H will renew his rivalry with Randy Orton.
Roman Reigns will face Shane McMahon in a singles match, while Braun Strowman will take on Bobby Lashley in a singles match too.
The Demon Finn Balor will defend his Intercontinental Championship vs Andrade, and another 50-man Battle Royal will also take place.
Out of all the matches confirmed for Super ShowDown so far, Kingston vs Ziggler is probably the most intriguing match on the card, as it will be interesting to see how this match is booked.
The booking of the match will indicate if this will be a one-match feud for The Showoff, or if he will play a major role on SmackDown in the coming months.
