Borussia Dortmund have kicked off their 2019 summer transfer window in pretty incredible style.Lucien Favre's side missed out on the Bundesliga title on the final day of the season, with Bayern Munich winning the league once again by two points. But Dortmund appear to be responding to missing out on domestic glory by bringing in three of the best players in the Bundesliga right now.The club have announced the signings of Nico Schulz from Hoffenheim, Thorgan Hazard from Borussia Monchengladbach and Julian Brandt from Bayer Leverkusen. All three are permanent fixtures with their respective international sides and have been on fire in Germany in 2018/19.

DORTMUND ANNOUNCE THREE HUGE SIGNINGS

What makes the deals even more impressive is how little money the club have spent.

Altogether, the transfers will cost the club around £65m, which is just a little more than £58m Chelsea paid for Christian Pulisic back in January.

Schulz is a left-back perfectly suited to Dortmund's attacking style.

The German international recorded five assists with Hoffenheim in the league and is a key man in Joachim Low's side these days.

As for Hazard and Brandt, they are two of the Bundesliga's most formidable attacking midfielders.

Hazard scored 10 times and assisted 10 more in 33 league games with Monchengladbach.

Brandt wasn't far behind, scoring seven times, assisting 11 and creating the most chances of any player in the Bundesliga.

The thought of those two behind the likes of Marco Reus, Paco Alcacer and Jadon Sancho next season is pretty mouthwatering.

Can they finally bring an end to Bayern's dominance in 2019/20? They may not have a better chance for a long, long time.
