Manchester United thought Romelu Lukaku would be their striker for much of the next decade when they signed him in 2017.However, after a promising start to his career at the club, Lukaku has failed to produce what is expected of him.He suffered numerous problems this season. His weight was criticised and multiple videos of his poor first touch were littered over social media.Although he improved since the turn of the year, Lukaku still managed just 15 goals in 45 games this season.

That's not good enough to be Man United's star striker.

With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer targeting a clear out this summer, the Belgian may well be on the move.

There have been reports that Man United would be willing to offers for Lukaku and it seems they have already got one.

Antonio Conte is closing in on a move to Inter Milan and reports suggest he wants to make Lukaku his first signing.

According to Tancredi Palmieri, the Milanese club have already made an offer.

He claims that Inter have bid €30m + Ivan Perisic.

He doesn't specify whether Manchester United will accept the offer, but it should surely tempt them.

Perisic has been one of the best wingers in world football in the past few years.

He's now 30 years old but he would no doubt be an improvement on what they have already got.

Jose Mourinho was a big fan of Perisic and made numerous attempts to bring him to Old Trafford.

Whether Solskjaer has the same enthusiasm, however, remains to be seen...

Lukaku hinted he would interested in a move to Inter earlier this year when he claimed playing in Serie A was a 'dream'.

Speaking on Sky Italia's Lords of Football, Lukaku said: "Playing in Serie A is a dream, it would be really a dream.

"I hope to be able to play sooner or later, even if at the moment I am focused on the United."
