Arjen Robben will officially leave Bayern Munich this summer after 10 years at the club.

The Dutch winger has become synonymous with Bayern over the last decade, terrorising German defences with his trademark runs down the right wing and lethal left-footed strikes.

However, Robben will be looking for pastures new this summer, after joining his partner in crime Franck Ribery by departing through the Allianz Arena exit.

Both players were given the perfect send off for their final Bundesliga appearances, both coming on to score during the 5-1 annihilation of Eintracht Frankfurt.

There wasn't to be a spectacular Robben strike on which to close out his time in Germany, but he still used his trusty left foot to arrive at the back post and score his 144th goal for the club.

Robben leaving Bayern

The season isn't officially over for Bayern yet and they still need to navigate the challenge of RB Leipzig in the DFB-Pokal final this weekend.

That being said, attention is starting to turn to where Robben will be playing his football next season and there still seems to be plenty of interest in the Champions League winner.

Although he is getting on at the age of 35, his rich experience with clubs like Chelsea and Real Madrid could make him the perfect senior addition at certain clubs.

Leicester are the favourites

However, recent odds suggest that Robben could be making a spectacular return to the Premier League and that Leicester City are the leading the way for his signature.

Oddschecker - the UK's leading odds aggregator - have made Leicester the favourites to sign Robben, cutting the odds to 2/1 after a flurry of bets were placed on the move.

Spokesperson George Elek explained: "Leicester's transfer policy in recent years as been lauded for unearthing stars of the future, so a move for a 35-year old winger doesn't really fit.

"Then when you hear it's Arjen Robben, one of Europe's elite for well over a decade, you can see why they would be tempted should the opportunity arise."

PSV Eindhoven - for whom Robben played between 2002 and 2004 - come in second with odds of 3/1, followed by any move to the MLS (4/1) or Chinese football (5/1).

It's certainly an interesting development and it's hard to imagine English football fans being anything but excited to see Robben on their shores once again.

The World Cup finalist plied his trade at Stamford Bridge between 2004 and 2007, winning the league title twice and scoring 19 goals under Jose Mourinho's management.

Quite whether Leicester need him in their ranks is up for debate, however, and Brendan Rodgers will surely consider maintaining the club's focus on youthful captures.

If nothing else, though, Robben would sell shirts and score an absolute worldie at some point.
