Arsenal have one last chance to earn Champions League football for next season in the Europa League final against Chelsea.

Having finished outside the top four in the Premier League, the Gunners currently face another campaign in Europe's second-tier competition.

But that's not good enough. A club of Arsenal's size belongs in the Champions League and missing out would be damaging for various reasons.

Not only will they have less money to spend in the summer transfer window, but world-class players will be less tempted to join them.

Beating Chelsea is an absolute must, then, as Unai Emery looks to make a number of changes to his below-par squad over the coming months.

Players like Shkodran Mustafi, Mohamed Elneny and Carl Jenkinson have proved they're simply not good enough, while there are question marks over Alex Iwobi and Granit Xhaka.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who has declared himself unavailable in Baku, is also at risk of being sold. So too is Mesut Ozil.

And it sounds like Arsenal could be about to lose club captain Laurent Koscielny, whose last game could be the Europa League final.

Koscielny, 33, joined the Gunners from Lorient in 2010 and developed into one of the Premier League's best centre-backs.

He's been a fine servant, but L'Equipe suggest the time may have come for the Frenchman to move on.

Should that happen, Arsenal reportedly want Barcelona's Samuel Umtiti as a replacement and could get him for €60m.

Whether Umtiti is the world-class centre-back Arsenal desperately need is up for a debate, but he's certainly an upgrade on Mustafi.

Emery is also on the lookout for a new winger this summer and there are rumours Bournemouth's Ryan Fraser will be the subject of a £18m bid.
