The world of Formula One was shocked this week by the news of Niki Lauda's passing.
The 70-year-old Austrian was one of the sport's greatest drivers, winning the World Championship on three separate occasions.
But sadly, he passed away on Monday, kickstarting an emotional week surrounding the sport.
Most will remember Lauda best for his part in the engrossing 1976 championship battle involving James Hunt.
With the title in the balance, Lauda was horrifically injured in a crash at the German Grand Prix and the Nurburgring.

His recovery and return to racing just six weeks later in Italy has become the stuff of legend.
Former Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is known to be an avid Formula 1 fan, and he talked about Lauda's death during a trip to the Monaco Grand Prix this weekend.
“I think for a guy like me, born in 1963 and in love with Formula 1, you can imagine what Niki Lauda meant to people of my age and generation.
“He is immortal, but for my generation, he was there during our biggest period in Formula 1, he meant a lot.
“I had the pleasure and the honour of meeting him a couple of times and had the chance to speak to him. I have pictures and we will remember him as one of the greatest.
“I think he would have loved this weekend to be the way it is going to be, and I think the best way to honour him is to have a great weekend here.”
Along with Mourinho and others from the wider world of sport, those involved with Formula One have also shared their own heartfelt tributes.
Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton was close to the former Ferrari driver and shared a touching message on Instagram in memory of Lauda.
His team will also commemorate him at this weekend's Grand Prix, with both Hamilton's and Valtteri Bottas' cars featuring a red halo with the words “Niki, we will miss you”.
It is a fitting way to remember one of the sport's true greats.News Now - Sport News
