Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho have shared numerous battles down the years. The two shared a fierce rivalry during their time as managers in the Premier League. They were constantly involved in an ongoing war of words. In 2007, Wenger called Mouirnho a 'chequebook manager' while in 2014 Mourinho famously described Wenger as a 'specialist in failure'.Their rivalry even got physical in 2014 when Wenger pushed Chelsea during his side's 2-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge.

The two managers than didn't share a handshake at the end of the game.

The two now find themselves unemployed as they consider their next roles in football.

Wenger left his role at Arsenal last summer after 22 years at the club, while Mourinho was sacked by Manchester United in 2018.

In the past few months both have been working as pundits for BeIN Sports.

Neither have been in the studio at the same time but that is about to change for the Champions League final on Saturday.

BeIN Sport announced on Monday that both will be pundits for the final between Liverpool and Tottenham in Madrid.

That is bound to create some incredible TV.

While the two have shared their differences in the past, their recent exchanges have been much more pleasant.

After Wenger announced he was leaving Arsenal last year Mourinho admitted regret over his past actions.

And in February he described Wenger as one of the best managers in football history.

"There were some episodes along the road. I can only speak by myself. I really enjoyed the competition. But the real respect was always there," said Mourinho, per Sky Sports.

"He made lots of history in that football club. The nickname is there - the Invincibles. Amazing. A coaching philosophy, the almost perfect team.

"He is one of the best managers in the history of football."
