Two penalties in the last four minutes gave Morecambe a thrilling 2-1 victory over Torquay.

Laurence Wilson kept his cool on both occasions to beat visiting goalkeeper Scott Bevan on both occasions to give Sammy McIlroy's side their third successive win in the most dramatic of fashions.

Both penalties came after fouls on Morecambe right winger Mark Duffy as he was brought down by Guy Branston for the first and Ashley Hemmings for the second.

The goals came after Torquay had looked set to take the points after Billy Kee fired the visitors into the lead 12 minutes from time with a 20-yard shot that beat the excellent Barry Roche low to his left hand side.

Roche produced a string of fine saves during the game to help Morecambe seal their fourth win in five games and see Torquay slump to only their third away defeat of the season.
