Lee Bradbury wants to take his managerial chance

Bournemouth caretaker boss Lee Bradbury is determined to make the most of a golden opportunity to become a full-time manager, starting with a trip to Rochdale.

Cherries chairman Eddie Mitchell has tasked the 35-year-old striker with temporarily replacing Eddie Howe, who became Burnley boss on Sunday.

Speaking to the Bournemouth Echo, Bradbury said: "There is never a perfect time to hang up your boots or to go into management. I feel I could play for at least another couple of years. But the way I look at it, this could be the start of a 20-year career in management."
