Macclesfield boss Gary Simpson will be without defensive duo Carl Tremarco and Shaun Brisley for the home clash with Barnet.

The pair are still troubled by hip injuries, but striker Emile Sinclair is expected to be available.

The Silkmen this week signed left-sided defender Tony Diagne on a contract until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old Frenchman, who can play at centre-half and left-back, came through the youth ranks at Nottingham Forest.

The club are hoping to receive international clearance in time for him to feature, while striker Simon Yeo has returned to Moss Rose on non-contract terms until the end of the season.

Yeo played for the Silkmen back in 2008/09 before further spells in non-league with Droylsden, Harrogate Town and most recently New Mills.

Barnet will add new signing Tommy Fraser to their squad.

The former Brighton midfielder has penned a two-and-a-half year contract at Underhill after he was released by Port Vale on Wednesday.

Fraser is likely to be handed an immediate debut, either in the centre or out wide.

The Bees were dealt a blow earlier this week when Ricky Holmes was ruled out for the season with a broken metatarsal.

Fellow striker Steve Kabba remains a doubt with a knee injury so Izale McLeod continues up front.

Defenders Darren Dennehy and Daniel Leach are still in the treatment room with long-term foot injuries but have begun stepping up their rehabilitation.
