Recently there's been a few main roster superstars who have gone back to their roots in WWE by popping by Full Sail and competing in NXT.

Tyler Breeze is officially a full-time NXT star once again after not getting many chances on the main roster, and he looks set to be joined by his former tag partner Fandango after his recovery from injury.

And Apollo Crews made a one-off appearance in Florida against the Japanese star Kushida in a great match.

There's obvious reasons as to why unfancied superstars would want to return to NXT - they get a great reaction and they usually get the match time that they wouldn't on the main roster.

It isn't just limited to NXT though, as we've seen superstars make their way across the pond to NXT UK.

We've seen Kassius Ohno join the UK brand and if they get their way, some main rosters individuals may end up making special appearances.

Finn Balor was a special guest at the first UK TakeOver in Blackpool back in January, as he faced his student Jordan Devlin in a match and appearance the crowd absolutely lost their marbles for.

When quizzed on if any main roster stars ask him if they can make an appearance on NXT or NXT UK by talkSPORT's Alex McCarthy in a TakeOver: Toronto conference call, 'The Game' named two stars who have been pestering him to let them fly to the UK and fight.

All the time. What's nice about it is they see the competitive landscape out there. A guy like Drew McIntyre is like 'if I can do anything over there [NXT UK]'", said HHH, per Sporting News.

"I would love it. It's a playground. You look at the UK and you see guys like WALTER and Tyler Bate and Trent [Seven] and everyone over there, if you're Drew McIntyre you're like 'I want to get in on that'.

"Talent are constantly coming to me. Killian Dain being back a part of NXT, Cesaro is always talking to me about the UK or different stuff and guys are always making offers."

Could you imagine McIntyre and Cesaro facing the likes of WALTER, Pete Dunne or Tyler Bate?

There's so many dream matches that could be made - what are you waiting for, WWE?
