Bayern Munich continued their impressive pre-season preparations with a ridiculous 23-0 win.

Their unlucky victims? FC Rottach-Egern, a side playing in the ninth division of German football.

During the match, five Bayern players netted hat-tricks, while 10 different stars got their name on the scoresheet.

Corentin Tolisso scored four times, while Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Muller, Leon Goretzka and Kwasi Okyere Wriedt all bagged three each.

Renato Sanches scored a brace, with Sarpreet Singh, Serge Gnabry, Alexander Nollenberger and teenager Leon Dajaku also getting in on the act.

An own-goal rounded off the 23-0 rout. Talk about a one-sided game.

To further humiliate Rottach-Egern, the whole match was broadcast live and highlights have since appeared on YouTube.

Check out the goals - yes - all 23 of them, below.

We'd love to say that this result is a one-off, but it's not. The two sides met ahead of last season too, but it wasn't as brutal for Rottach-Egern. They lost that game 20-2.

It's a fixture that we could conceivably see every year, considering Bayern's amateur opponents are very local, based in the town of Tegernsee in the Bavaria region.

The friendly drew quite a big crowd as 2,500 supporters came out to see their local side get absolutely demolished by a team that plays eight divisions above them.

FC Rottach-Egern will probably be happy to see that back of the Bundesliga champions, who continue preparations ahead of another season in which they hope to defend their title.

Bayern kick-off their DFB-Pokal cup run against Energie Cottbus on Monday, before opening their Bundesliga campaign against Hertha BSC on Friday.

It's expected Niko Kovac's team will be going head-to-head with Borussia Dortmund for the title again this year and after a 23-0 warm-up win, they should be pretty confident going into the new campaign.
