The FIFA 20 beta has been released and details from the latest version of EA Sports’ hugely popular video game franchise are being leaked on social media. The full version will be released on September 27, but the beta offers a select group of players to test the game and report back to EA if they spot any problems.Only minor changes will be made to the final version, though. The gameplay on the beta is unlikely to be different when the final version hits the shelves next month.Gamers are excited to try out the new VOLTA mode - which is similar to the much-loved FIFA Street.A new trailer dropped this week and it looks like it’ll be incredibly fun to play.

The new version of FIFA will also see players become managers, according to new screenshots and videos leaked from the beta.

Here’s Lionel Messi as the new manager of, wait for it, Newcastle United…

Additional screenshots show him in conversation with Martin Dubravka’s agent, speaking to reporters in a press conference and patrolling the touchline during a match.

Nice trousers, Leo.

Cristiano Ronaldo, meanwhile, becomes the new manager of Italian outfit Sampdoria.

A video shows the Portuguese legend being interviewed after taking the job.

These screenshots, meanwhile, show him in the dugout and facing the media…

Elsewhere, Wayne Rooney becomes the new manager of Derby County…

Aaron Ramsey becomes the new head coach of Wolves…

Gianluigi Buffon is appointed the new manager of Eintracht Frankfurt…

Phil Jones begins his managerial career at Lille…

And Vincent Kompany, who is the player-coach of Anderlecht in real life, takes over at Waasland-Beveren…

Some brilliantly bizarre appointments there.

Unfortunately, we haven’t seen any screenshots yet of Kepa Arrizabalaga as Chelsea’s new manager - although it’s surely only a matter of time.

FIFA 20 promises to be a lot of fun.
