Bray Wyatt's The Fiend finally made his in-ring debut at SummerSlam last night, and judging by the amount of merchandise that is being produced for the character, a big push could be on the horizon for him.

The Fiend made his in-ring debut at SummerSlam on Sunday, with an impressive new theme song and entrance to match the hype the character has had over the past few months.

Wyatt then went on to beat Finn Balor in the ring to cement his status as one of the most intriguing superstars in the company right now, and bigger things could be in store for him.

According to Cageside Seats, based on the number of products WWE was selling for the superstar at SummerSlam, a big push could be in store for The Fiend.

Counting the items on his store page on the WWE Shop, Wyatt already has 21 different items for sale based on his new Fiend/Firefly Fun House gimmick, but more are expected to be added in the near future.

These items vary from traditional t-shirts to The Fiend mask and gloves, to puppet characters that make appearances during the Firefly Fun House segments.

As well as the quantity of merchandise on sale, Wyatt had a strong victory against Balor at SummerSlam and he dominated the match from the start.

For once, WWE's creative team has managed to get a highly-anticipated superstar's return to the ring on point.

Now, we wait and see if the team can correctly book his story over the next couple of months and not ruin it before it has a chance to achieve strong momentum.

As of writing, The Fiend's next opponent in the ring is unclear, but you'd expect WWE to give the character special treatment and refuse to bring the character out of its box for a match unless it's a pay-per-view.

Considering the character is relatively new, Wyatt shouldn't be feuding against any of WWE's champions just yet, so while that eliminates a few superstars like AJ Styles and Seth Rollins, there's still plenty of other guys to choose from.
