Floyd Mayweather has reignited his beef with 50 Cent with savage Instagram post

Errol Spence Jr v Mikey Garcia

Floyd Mayweather is certainly a character.

There's a reason that the American endured as one of the greatest pay-per-view fighters in history and that was arguably because millions of sports fans finally wanted to see him lose.

Mayweather will go down as one of boxing's finest and his professional record of 50-0, which includes victories of Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Manny Pacquiao, is the stuff of legends.

However, his social media activity has been the source of great frustration in the years since his retirement and it would be fair to say that most fans don't appreciate his demeanour.

Aside from constantly advertising his Las Vegas strip club on Instagram, Mayweather also churns out posts of him with wads of cash and obscenely-priced designer watches.

Mayweather and Jackon's beef

But aside from flaunting his boxing riches, the 42-year-old can't go too long without starting beef and that often revolves around his final ever boxing victim Conor McGregor.

However, while McGregor is alway plugging his 'Proper Twelve' whiskey, it seems that Mayweather has once again come pre-occupied with his long-standing disagreement with 50 Cent.

The beef can be traced all the way back to 2014 when Curtis Jackson made a fake 'ALS Ice Bucket' video where he challenged Mayweather to read a single page from a Harry Potter book.

Mayweather hits out on Instagram

There's been too many rebuttals since then to go through them all but, for whatever reason, Mayweather has decided to reignite the drama in savage fashion this week on Instagram.

'Money' posted a graph that shows how 50 Cent's album sales have plummeted from 15 million to 200,000 between the releases of 'Great Rich Or Die Tryin' and 'Animal Ambition.'

Mayweather had even posted a longer post just hours beforehand, breaking down how 50 Cent's career was 'ended' in four shots by slamming his ventures into champagne, headphones and more.

Mayweather dissects Jackson's career

The former boxer penned: "1. You tried desperately to revive your career by going head to head with Kanye West and got dragged publicly, taking a unanimous decision loss.

"2. Jay Z been killing the champagne game with Ace of Spade selling worldwide at premium prices for well over a decade, while Curtis got a bottle with a cheap chess piece on it that taste like shampoo.

"3. Beats by Dre headphones was a home run smash, we all know that, but what the fuck was Curtis’s SMS Audio headphones?

"That was some straight bullshit the FEDs had something to do with. Those are snitch headphones, you can be in your car and hear the people's conversation in the vehicle next to you.

"4.Diddy got Ciroc and its still selling worldwide and you can’t find Efen in no stores and it's well known the shit taste like rubbing alcohol."

Quite why Mayweather felt the need to drive in another knife, we're not entirely sure but it attracted plenty of attention with 200,000 'likes' and over 10,000 comments.

50 Cent responds on Twitter

Inevitably, it also prompted a response from Jackson itself and just when it looked as though the rapper was keen to squash the beef, he couldn't resist a nothing dig at Mayweather's literacy.

Taking to Twitter, he responded: "Tell Floyd I said he won he is the greatest of all time. and nobody I mean nobody can ever take that away from him what he’s done with his life is amazing.

"I’m done with all of the back and forth. Now Can Someone Please Read This To Champ. #POSTIVE VIBES."
