Edge returned to the WWE at SummerSlam to deliver a spear to Elias to get the crowd going ahead of the company's second biggest show of the year.
During the SummerSlam kickoff show, Elias performed a song in the middle of the ring for the WWE fans in Toronto, but the song wasn't very pleasant towards them.
The Drifter even took a shot at the Toronto Raptors, as he said: "I can't wait to leave and join Kawhi Leonard in LA."
Obviously, this didn't go down well with the Toronto crowd, but luckily, they didn't have to wait long to cheer again as Edge made a surprise appearance.
The Rated-R Superstar received a huge pop from the fans, got into the ring, and even speared Elias when The Drifter charged towards him. He then left the ring to a standing ovation.

Edge has rarely done anything physical since he retired from the ring in 2011 due to cervical spinal stenosis, so it was a nice surprise to see him do his Spear move again.
However, it's odd that WWE gave him the clearance to do the move, as there was no real need for them to do so.
Edge's last match for WWE was in April 2011 when he successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXVII against Alberto Del Rio.
However, due to his cervical spinal stenosis, he was forced to relinquish the title just days later.
He's made sporadic appearances for WWE since retiring, but he's hardly done anything seriously physical. His spear to Elias was his first wrestling action since 2011.
This was likely just a one-off appearance for Edge, but it wouldn't do WWE any harm to bring him back more often, even if it's just to deliver a promo to help out another superstar.News Now - Sport News
