Paris Saint-Germain appear to have removed all signs of Neymar from official club shop

Neymar appears to be closer to leaving Paris Saint-Germain than ever before.

The Brazilian forward, who joined the French side two years ago for a world-record £200 million fee, has made it clear to PSG that he no longer wants to play for them.

PSG are also reportedly open to selling the 27-year-old, who is wanted by both Real Madrid and his former club Barcelona.

It appears to be a two-horse race for Neymar’s signature, with the player keen to move back to Spain.

His preference is to re-join Barça, where he spent four happy seasons playing alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, but he would reportedly consider a move to the Bernabeu if the Catalan giants are unable to strike a deal with PSG.

PSG fans made their feelings towards Neymar clear during the club’s opening Ligue 1 match against Nimes on Sunday.

Supporters were filmed chanting 'Neymar, son of a b****’, while they also held up offensive banners - one of which simply told the South American to f*** off.

Less than 24 hours later, on Monday, Neymar’s lawyers were spotted at Camp Nou offices amid intense speculation linking their client with a return to Barça,

The Spanish press have been told that the lawyers were not there to discuss Neymar, but the timing is more than a little curious.

Shortly afterwards a video was posted on social media - via Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte - showing that all traces of Neymar have been moved from PSG’s official club shop.

It’s obviously very strange why Neymar, the club’s most expensive and marketable player, doesn’t appear anywhere in PSG’s Parc des Prince store right now.

PSG are clearly preparing for his departure.

But where will he end up?

Barça fans will never forgive Neymar if he opts to join Madrid. He would be seen in the same light as Luis Figo, despite the fact he hasn’t moved directly between Spain’s two fiercest rivals.

They want him to return to Camp Nou and help the club conquer Europe for the first time since 2015.

Barcelona are currently the narrow favourites to seal Neymar’s signature but Madrid are very close behind.

This one could go right to the wire.
