What’s on in Manchester

With Manchester’s city centre just around the corner, the Etihad and neighbouring Academy Stadium are perfectly placed to explore the North West’s biggest city.

The trendy areas of Manchester’s Northern Quarter and Ancoats are packed full of places to eat and drink before and after the game.

Food and Drink

There are plenty of bars and restaurants around Manchester Piccadilly Station, but other areas within the city are most definitely worth the trip. We recommend the Northern Quarter, The Printworks and The Corn Exchange.

Here are a few popular with local Mancs:

Mackie Mayor - Manchester's Northern Quarter

  • A former meat market has been transformed into one of the North West’s trendiest places to eat
  • The food hall houses a diverse array of food and drinks with vendors serving pizza, bao buns and everything in between

Rudy’s Neapolitan Pizza

  • Ranked the best Pizza in England
  • 14'' pizza for a fiver
  • 15 mins walk from Manchester Piccadilly station
