Braun Strowman finally looks like he's set to move back to the top of the card in WWE.

After months of doing next-to-nothing, the Monster Among Men helped Universal Champion Seth Rollins fend off the attack of AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows on Raw this week.

He then grabbed Rollins' belt and handed it to him, shaking his hand in the process.

Whilst a six-man tag match where Braun teams with Seth and Ricochet to take on 'The OC' may be the short-term aim of that segment, the long-term surely sees Strowman taking on Rollins at Clash of Champions next month.

Strowman hasn't had a world title shot in some time - you have to go back to Crown Jewel where he was humiliated by Brock Lesnar in November 2018 for his last one.

Speaking of Braun and Brock, the two were involved in an incident at the 2018 Royal Rumble, where Lesnar got incredibly angry about a knee-strike Strowman hit him with.

Lesnar immediately responded with two legitimate strong right hand strikes to the head of Braun, who was shaken up.

TalkSPORT asked Strowman about the aftermath of that incident during SummerSlam weekend, and surprisingly Brock wasn't that angry about the matter when it came to getting backstage after the match.

“We laughed about it afterwards,” said Strowman. “It is what it is. We got to the back and I said ‘Hey, my bad” he said the same thing and we went about our business.

"We’re both grown ups, we both knew what we were getting into and at the end of the day, we’re both very dominant males and neither of us wanted to give in an inch, so in the end we took an inch from each other.”

Brock seems to have mellowed in his older age, and despite leaving a receipt on Strowman in the middle of the ring, it's good to see he didn't actually hold a grudge.

It's a shame that there's no footage of what was said in the gorilla position, but we will just have to trust what Braun says when it comes to what really happened.
