Winning the Premier League title is an incredible feat for any player.

Argue all you like about the unpredictability of Europe's various leagues, but the fact no club retained England's top prize for a decade between 2009 and 2019 speaks for itself.

While the list of clubs that have ever conquered the competition is certainly small, there has always been a delightfully erratic pendulum swing between the finest clubs in the realm.

Of course, Manchester United stand as the greatest team in its history with 13 titles under Sir Alex Ferguson, but Chelsea and Manchester City have also shone in the last 15 years.

There's also been the delightful charges to glory from Blackburn Rovers and Leicester City that remind everybody just how erratic the Premier League can be in the best possible way.

PL wins with two separate clubs

And while the group of players that have even won the competition is incredibly small, we've stumbled across an even more unique group that have won it with two separate clubs.

In fact, there are actually only 10 players who can stake a claim to that statistic - far fewer than you'd expect when more and more professionals are switching between the stand-out teams.

So, just as the 2019/20 season moves into second gear, we decided to run through the 10 players who have recorded the unique feat. Check out the list in full down below:

Riyad Mahrez - Leicester City and Manchester City

Part of the fairytale story that saw Leicester win the Premier League in 2016, the Algerian has gone on to add a second trophy to his collection under Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium.

Ashley Cole - Arsenal and Chelsea

Having decided to hang up his boots this week, it makes sense to acknowledge a left-back that won two Premier League titles at Highbury and then bagged another with Chelsea in 2010.

Kolo Toure - Arsenal and Manchester City

Yet another member of the Invincibles that decided to move on, but this time Toure set his sat-nav to the north and collected the domestic crown after Sergio Aguero's unforgettable goal in 2012.

N'Golo Kante - Leicester City and Chelsea

The French midfielder enjoyed the best possible start to life in England when he helped inspire Leicester to a win for the history-books and then replicated it with Chelsea just a season later.

Gael Clichy - Arsenal and Manchester City

Member number 343 of the 'ditching Arsenal for pastures new' club. Clichy was a relatively unknown part of the Invincibles, but played an important role in City's title victories in both 2012 and 2014.

Carlos Tevez - Manchester United and Manchester City

It doesn't get more gangster than winning the Premier League with two rival clubs, but that's exactly what Tevez did between 2008 and 2012, while upsetting a fair share of supporters along the way.

Nicolas Anelka - Arsenal and Chelsea

The one player on this list that could have won it with three clubs. Anelka was an English champion with Arsenal in 1998, Chelsea in 2010 and came narrowly second with Liverpool in 2001.

Henning Berg - Blackburn Rovers and Manchester United

The inaugurator of this entire list. Berg made no less than 42 appearances in Blackburn's title-winning season, before moving to Old Trafford to grab the 1999-00 and 2000-01 league crowns.

Mark Schwarzer - Chelsea and Leicester City

Perhaps the funniest inclusion on this entire list goes to Schwarzer who, well beyond his prime by this point, made 0 appearances in championship-winning years for Chelsea and Leicester.

Robert Huth - Chelsea and Leicester City

Rounding off this list is another man with the bizarre combination of Chelsea and Leicester, although the centre-back deserves far more credit and made far more appearances for the latter.
