After his very impressive return at UFC 241 on Saturday, picking up a convincing victory over Anthony Pettis, Nate Diaz spoke to reporters in the post-fight conference, responding to the idea of a Conor McGregor trilogy fight.

Diaz revealed he'd be open to fight McGregor for a third time, saying: "If that's something that works into the schedule.

"I'm going to fight the baddest dudes, the biggest, baddest shows that people want to see.

"That's what I want to see, that's what I want to do, so it's up to everybody that's involved in that.

"If they want it, they're going to call me and tell me they want it."

Diaz and McGregor first fought at UFC 196 back in 2016, with the former picking up an incredible win over the Irishman with a submission chokehold.

The giants then clashed again at UFC 202 a few months later in their second fight, with McGregor bouncing back with a win.

While a fight with the 'Notorious' is seemingly on Diaz's radar, it is clear that Jorge Masvidal is at the top of his priorities, after Diaz called him out post-fight last weekend.

Masvidal, aged 34, has revealed that he wants a blockbuster fight with Diaz, and has told UFC president Dana White to "open up the cheque book."

Clearly, Masvidal is interested in the money, but Diaz insists that he would fight him for a self-titled belt called the 'baddest motherf*cker in the game.' The American MMA star is more interested in relishing the challenge of being back in the UFC after such a long time.

He said: "I don't think they know how to do it.

"I don't think anybody knows how to do it, and everybody's beginners, scared or something.

"I don't want to be all full of myself and riding on a high horse and cocky and (expletive), but I got way too much money to be having to fight somebody that's not interesting."
