FIFA 20 is tantalisingly close.

The latest edition of the world's most popular football game will be available on September 27 and there will be a number of exciting additions to the newest instalment of the franchise.

Improvements and updates to Pro Clubs and Career Mode plus the addition of VOLTA have understandably left the FIFA community very, very excited.

But before the game is made available to play, EA Sports will released the player ratings for the top 100 players on FIFA 20.

With that in mind, we here at GIVEMESPORT have made our predictions for the top 20 highest-rated players from La Liga.

A familiar face is at number one...

CASEMIRO - 86

He didn't enjoy a great campaign in 2018/19, but he should still preserve a fairly high rating on FIFA 20.

IVAN RAKITIC - 86

A small decline of one may seem a bit harsh, but the Croatian isn't quite the player he used to be.

MARCELO - 86

One of his worst seasons at Real Madrid should see the Brazilian's rating decrease by two - at least.

GARETH BALE - 86

Just like Marcelo, Bale's virtual value will surely be on the decline once again.

SAUL NIGUEZ - 86

Atletico's versatile midfielder is likely to be the club's highest-rated outfield player for the latest edition of FIFA.

DANI PAREJO - 87

Yet another quality season dipped under the radar, but Parejo should be handed a well-deserved boost of one to his base rating.

THIBAUT COURTOIS - 87

A likely decline of three from FIFA 19 after an indifferent debut season with Los Blancos.

KARIM BENZEMA - 87

The Frenchman was back to his best in 2018/19 and should be one of the game's top strikers once again.

TONI KROOS - 88

Like many Real players - aside from Benzema - Kroos was sub-par last season, so a reduced rating is all but certain.

SERGIO BUSQUETS - 88

Not quite the player he was, but still world-class and key to Barcelona. Expect him to preserve his initial rating from FIFA 19.

JORDI ALBA - 88

Criticised towards the end of last season, but Alba was on fire for much of 2018/19, so he will likely be made the highest-rated left-back on the game.

LUKA MODRIC - 89

The current Ballon d'Or holder probably won't break the 90 mark this time around, but 89 is still pretty darn good.

SERGIO RAMOS - 89

Another Real player, another reduced rating. Ramos will probably still be an absolute monster on the game, though.

GERARD PIQUE - 89

Finally on par with Ramos. Pique enjoyed arguably his best Barca season in 2018/19 and is likely to be rewarded for that by EA Sports.

MARC-ANDRE TER STEGEN - 90

Give this man a higher rating than Courtois this time around!

ANTOINE GRIEZMANN - 90

Barca's latest mega-money signing should finally break the 90 barrier on FIFA 20.

LUIS SUAREZ - 90

Despite regular criticism, Suarez still continues to score goals at the very highest level. Expect a rating decrease, but a small one.

JAN OBLAK - 91

The best goalkeeper in the world and soon to be the best goalkeeper on FIFA. Well, probably.

EDEN HAZARD - 92

The Belgian was given a 91 rating on FIFA 19, so expect an increase after his brilliant 2018/19 with Chelsea.

LIONEL MESSI - 94

Was his number one spot ever in doubt? If EA are feeling brave, they may even boost his rating to 95...
