Andres Iniesta shows he has still got it with outrageous first time volleyed pass

Andres Iniesta is one of the best midfielders of all-time.

The Spanish midfielder made his professional debut with Barcelona in 2002 and would go on to win it all with the club.

Iniesta made 674 appearances and scored 57 times across 16 seasons with the Catalan giants.

He won 32 major trophies with the club, including nine La Liga titles and four Champions League triumphs.

His spell at Barca finally came to an end in 2018 when he left to join Japanese side, Vissel Kobe.

Now 35 years old, Iniesta may not be the same player he was at Barcelona but he remains an extraordinary talent.

Iniesta played in Fernando Torres' final game as a professional footballer on Friday.

And the 35-year-old showed in the game that he has still got it with a quite ridiculous pass to set up his side's third goal.

The former Barcelona midfielder played an incredible first time volleyed pass that travelled the best part of 70 yards and set up a goalscoring opportunity for his side.

Watch it below:

What a player. Junya Tanaka eventually put the ball in the back of the net but most of the credit went to Iniesta for starting the move.

With passes like that it's almost a shame that he's not plying his trade in Europe anymore.

Prior to the game Iniesta penned a heartfelt tribute to Torres.

"How strange. Don't say no to me, Fernando. It's very strange, I'd say beautifully strange," he wrote, per El Mundo.

Andres Iniesta played against Fernando Torres in his final game

"Here we both are, about to play your last game as a professional. I still have some left. Here we are, on the other side of the world.

"It's as if life, whimsical as she is, had brought us all the way to Japan to say goodbye. Football brought us together more than 20 years ago, when we were children. Well, you will always be El Niño. And it will never separate us.

"There is no greater treasure than your friendship, Fernando. It's been a wonderful journey. It has taken us to every corner of the world. And look where we are today. In Tosu, you and I playing a football match. One more.

"Enjoy everything that comes to you now and be happy. But how strange, Fernando. You haven't left yet and I miss you already."
