Virgil van Dijk was an absolute colossus for Liverpool last season. The Dutch defender was imperious at the back, guiding the Reds to a second-place finish in the Premier League - with 97 points to their name.Van Dijk was so good that he scooped the PFA Player of the Year award, which is a rarity for a defender. One of the most impressive aspects of the 27-year-old's performances was the fact that no attacker in the Premier League could dribble past him.But his ridiculous streak is finally over, thanks to Arsenal's Nicolas Pepe.

The Ivorian finally managed to get past Van Dijk, making him the first player to do so in the Dutchman's last 50 Premier League games.

You can watch a video of Pepe beating Van Dijk below.

Sadly for Arsenal, Pepe gave the ball away pretty much straight after beating Liverpool's defensive talisman.

Swings and roundabouts, eh?
