The summer transfer window closed for Premier League clubs ahead of the 2019-20 campaign but it remains open for the rest of Europe for another eight days.

Paris Saint-Germain haven't been afraid of splashing the cash in recent years, most notably with the signing of Neymar from Barcelona in 2017 for a world-record €222 million fee.

This summer, the French champions have brought in Abdou Diallo, Idrissa Gueye from Everton, Spanish winger Pablo Sarabia and Manchester United fan favourite Ander Herrera.

That said, there remains uncertainty regarding Neymar's future, and both Real Madrid and his former club Barca are reportedly trying to secure a deal for the Brazilian.

So, if Neymar leaves the French capital, PSG will need to replace him, and one player they could ramp up their interest in is Wilfried Zaha.

Paris plan £100M Zaha signing

The Mirror have reported that Paris are planning an enormous £100 million move to acquire Zaha from Crystal Palace as a replacement for Neymar.

Zaha told Palace that he wanted to leave earlier in the summer, and both Arsenal and Everton tried to sign him, but neither of those clubs were willing to meet the £100 million valuation.

However, PSG are prepared to pay that fee and give the skilful winger the opportunity to fulfil his desire of playing Champions League football.

The report states that the French billionaires will send a team of delegates to London this week to see if an agreement can be reached with Palace for the transfer of the 26-year-old.

Paris seem well aware that Zaha might struggle to replicate the outstanding output of Neymar but believe his "style and ability would excite the Parc des Princes crowd".

What about Neymar?

Paris are said to be open to allowing Neymar to return to Spain, as long as their demand of a £200 million fee is met by either Real or Barcelona.

The 27-year-old has scored a phenomenal 51 goals in 58 games for PSG but they took disciplinary action against him last month due to his absence from training.

Will Zaha join Paris?

Zaha, who signed a £130,000-a-week five-year deal at Selhurst Park last year, has scored 35 times since returning to Palace from Man United in 2015.

On Saturday, the Ivory Coast international helped Palace to a surprise 2-1 win at Old Trafford - their first victory over United in 28 years.

Despite getting his head down so far this campaign, Palace's star man still wants to leave and it appears him getting his wish will depend on whether or not Neymar departs PSG.
