The Rock is the most electrifying man in sports entertainment history and has unarguably become the biggest superstar to ever ply his trade in WWE.He may now be more known for his performances on the big screen but his legacy inside the squared circle remains intact. And one of his signature moves from his wrestling days has been used yet again in the world of football [or soccer to the Americans], and it has indeed gone viral. You may recall two years ago that Adebayo Akinfenwa, the striker famed for being the strongest player in the FIFA video game series, dropped the elbow on his team-mate after scoring a goal against Port Vale for Wycombe Wanderers. Not only did The Rock acknowledge Akinfenwa imitating him by tweeting the British player, creating a viral moment online, the two met a year later on a promotional tour of his film Rampage - and The Rock rated his elbow a perfect 10.

Well lightning has struck twice as another English football player has took the chance to go viral by using 'The Great One's' move-set.

James Norwood is already pretty popular with Ipswich Town fans after his move from Tranmere Rovers, and this week his opening goal against Bolton Wanderers was celebrated in spectacular fashion - but not on the pitch.

Whilst his actual live celebration was pretty muted, the GIF the Ipswich media team posted to announce his goal saw Norwood imitate the People's Elbow, with full elbow pad removal and imagined running of the ropes.

It marked the second week in a row Norwood had turned to a WWE superstar for his celebration, as he smashed two beer cans together like Stone Cold Steve Austin the previous week.

WWE even acknowledged how viral the moment had gone - could we see a showdown between Norwood and The People's Champion in the near future?

Not everyone is a fan of his attempt as many have pointed out he used the wrong elbow, but does Norwood care? No, he doesn't!
