Harry Wilson scored a sensational free-kick for Bournemouth in their match against Manchester City on Sunday.

The winger, on loan at the Cherries from Liverpool, halved Man City's 2-1 lead with a sublime effort that will be on repeat for weeks.

Pep Guardiola's side had raced into a 2-0 lead through goals from Sergio Aguero and Harry Wilson.

But Wilson made it 2-1 at half-time with an inch-perfect rocket.

Per Opta, Wilson has scored more goals from outside the box - 11 - than any other player in England's top four tiers.

His latest one may well be the best of the lot.

Pick that one out.

Unfortunately for Wilson and Bournemouth, that was as good as it got.

They fell to a 3-1 defeat with Aguero scoring again in the second half.

City moved up to second in the Premier League table and they're looking like a team on a mission.

It's only their 2-2 draw against Tottenham, which came in unfortunate circumstances, that is denying the reigning champions from a perfect record.

Sterling has made an electric start to the season, his goal against Bournemouth taking him to five goals already in the league.

The 24-year-old has faced his critics but there's no denying that he's now in the bracket of football's world-class players.

Much of his improvement has been attributed to Pep Guardiola but the Man City boss wants Sterling to take all the credit.

"I think he's a better player, like I said last season. It's all [to] his credit, his desire to be better," Guardiola said, per Goal.

"I think every player is good when they understand what we want to do as a group... he's a guy who is incredibly receptive when we have our talks, when Mikel [Arteta, City first-team coach] speaks with him or myself.

"It's nice, when they don't get that feeling like 'oh, always pushing me or criticising me'.

"He's open. From day one since we arrived. That's why he's becoming an incredible, exceptional player.

"After that his physicality [is excellent], he plays every three days and no injuries. He runs a lot and his genetics are so strong. It's good."
