Have you ever had one of those days that just about everything goes wrong?

You know those days where one thing after the next just goes against you.

We’re sure you have.

But we can almost guarantee you that your bad day wasn’t quite as bad as the day Moestafa El Kabir had yesterday.

El Kabir plays for Çaykur Rizespor in the Turkish Super Lig and was facing Sivasspor.

But things went wrong for El Kabir long before kick-off.

Firstly, he was left behind at the club’s training ground by the team coach.

Not a great start.

It left the 30-year-old needing to get a taxi to the stadium.

Not a problem, he’d just be a little bit late and have a pay a small taxi fare.

Well, that little bit late turned into quite a bit late after security initially didn’t let him into the stadium.

To be fair, you don’t expect to see players turning up to the ground in a taxi.

Eventually, El Kabir’s manager intervened and finally got him inside the dressing room.

Time for the 30-year-old to concentrate on the match.

But within 13 minutes, El Kabir was being stretchered off with a broken leg. It’s now reported that he will miss the next six months through injury.

As Sunday’s go, that’s pretty rough.

There was one positive for El Kabir, though.

Without his involvement, Çaykur Rizespor went on to win 2-1 to take all three points thanks to goals from Braian Samudio and Fernando Boldrin.

Just spare a thought for the striker when you're next having a rough day.
